If you're looking for creativity, stick with 4.5. It might be the best choice overall. 4.1 is supposed to outshine 4o, but isn't quite up to 4.5's level.
I agree, but 4.5 has so many limits that it's almost unusable. I tried it out, and for longer stories, 4o actually performed better.
From what I've seen, GPT-4.1 is generally better for coding and following instructions. If you’re focusing on creative writing, I'd recommend going with GPT-4o or even 4.5, as they seem to have the upper hand there.

I think it really comes down to the language you use. Personally, I prefer 4.1, but with the latest updates, 4o might take the lead soon.
