I recently asked ChatGPT about the dirtiest thing in the world, expecting something more shocking or unusual. However, ChatGPT revealed that the dirtiest thing isn't what you'd typically consider dirty, but actually your smartphone! This conclusion is backed by various scientific studies that show mobile phones carry significantly more bacteria than toilet seats. The findings included facts like phones harboring over 25,000 bacteria per square inch, which is ten times more than the average toilet seat. The research also highlights bacteria like E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus on our devices, emphasizing just how dirty our phones really are. I'm curious to know if anyone else is surprised by this and how often they actually clean their phones!

Honestly, I have to laugh a bit. While I get the science behind it, aren't we overlooking the most obvious answer? The dirtiest thing is dirt itself! Microbes don't count as dirt!
I totally get it! That's why I make it a habit to wipe mine down with alcohol wipes every few days. I even do the mouse and keyboard at work, especially since they get touched by different people all the time. It’s cleaner, and even if my family thinks I'm overreacting, I feel better knowing I'm keeping germs at bay!

Haha, I feel you! It’s not weird to be cautious. Better safe than sorry, right?
