I noticed that my system name changed from "DESKTOP-0BKER" to "DESKTOP-46IMG3D" out of the blue. I used to be familiar with the old name and it caught me off guard. I checked the Event Viewer but couldn't find Event ID 6011 to see when it happened or who might have changed it. Is this something I need to be concerned about? I ran netstat -ano to check for IPs and it seems like everything is from my internet provider and Microsoft, which is reassuring. Also, I noticed that the "Locale" in System Information says United States, even though I'm in Europe. I can't recall if it was different before. I've looked through Task Manager and nothing seems suspicious, so I'm wondering if the name change could be linked to an SSD replacement or something? (Just to clarify, these drives are not Windows drives.)

Just to clarify what's going on—if your computer is physically secure and you control it, then the name change likely isn't a cause for alarm. If you still have access to everything and there are no signs of unauthorized access, you should be fine.
No need to worry too much about that name change. Those system names are usually generated randomly and don’t mean anything significant. It's not unusual for them to change without any cause for concern.
