Help me choose between two monitors!

I'm trying to decide between two monitors that I've found in my area since good 1440p options with IPS panels and AMD FreeSync Premium are hard to come by. Here are my top choices: the MSI Optix G272QPF E2, which has 1440p, RAPID IPS, and ADAPTIVE SYNC, and the Samsung Odyssey G5, which features 1440p, VA panel, and FreeSync Premium. They are priced the same. Also, is it important that the MSI doesn't support AMD FreeSync Premium?

I own the MSI and it’s been great for me. The colors are much better than my partner’s Samsung VA screen. Plus, the adaptive sync essentially works like FreeSync; it's even listed as FreeSync in the monitor settings! You won’t regret it.

I’d definitely go for the MSI! IPS panels typically offer better color accuracy and viewing angles compared to VA panels, which tend to be cheaper. Even if the MSI lacks FreeSync, adaptive sync is similar, so you shouldn't worry too much about that.

You might also want to check out the ROG Strix XG27ACS if you’re considering options. It could be worth your while!

Honestly, when it comes to IPS vs VA, IPS usually wins! I'd stick with the MSI without a second thought.
