I've been using the free version of an app builder, and it's mostly been pretty good. However, every now and then it forgets some basic stuff we've set up and gives me silly, random changes that don't make sense. It's really frustrating! I'm wondering if paying for a month would actually improve its performance and the quality of its responses. Has anyone noticed a difference after upgrading?

Upgrading won’t necessarily fix the issues you're facing. Paying gives you more options but doesn’t necessarily make the app smarter. If you don’t have any coding knowledge, that’s a huge hurdle. You might want to look into getting access to GPT-4.1, which could be worth considering if you can’t get the features you need for free.
I’m a Plus user, and honestly, it still has some of the same weird quirks. Like, it keeps calling me by its own nickname no matter how many times I correct it! But I will say that GPT-4.5 seems to actually follow the custom instructions I set up, which is a nice change.
Honestly, I noticed a big difference once I started paying for it! The extra resources made me feel more confident while working on my project, and having access to more prompts was really helpful. However, I'd recommend learning a bit about coding—it'll help no matter which plan you choose.
Totally agree! Even a little coding knowledge can really make a difference!
Good point! I think knowing more about how these models work, like their context window, is just as crucial as upgrading.
