Tips for Cutting Costs on My PC Build without Losing Performance

Hey everyone! I've mostly finalized my PC build, but I'm looking to trim down the costs by about 5%. Here are my current specs:

- Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- RTX 5070 Ti OC
- Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 cooler
- Gigabyte B650 Aorus Elite AX V2 motherboard
- Core Reactor II 80+ Gold power supply
- 2TB Lexar NM 790 SSD
- 2x32GB Patriot RAM
- Zalman S2 case

I would like to keep the CPU and GPU the same, but any advice on where I can save some cash without compromising performance would be awesome! Thanks a ton!

Also, how does switching to the Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX motherboard sound?

First off, performance really depends on what you’re using the PC for. If you’re mainly gaming, do you really need 64GB of RAM? Most games, even heavy ones like Microsoft Flight Simulator, usually don’t require that much. Consider dropping down to 32GB; it could save you a bunch!

Yeah, I second that! When I play games, I always have some other apps running like Spotify and Discord, and 32GB is still more than enough for those.
