Need Advice on Motherboards and Cases for My PC Build

I'm in the process of building my PC and I've already got the power supply and GPU sorted out. Now, I'm looking for some advice specifically on choosing motherboards and cases. I like the Fractal North case, but I'm unsure about the size I actually need. I'm also considering a 420mm AIO cooler since it should run quieter, so I thought a full tower case might be necessary. Would love to hear any thoughts or suggestions!

I went ahead and tweaked your build a bit. Here’s a setup that might work for you:

- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
- **Cooler**: Thermalright Aqua Elite V3 (a good choice for quieter operation)
- **Motherboard**: Gigabyte X870 EAGLE WIFI7
- **Case**: Fractal Design North XL (which has space for that 420mm AIO)
- **Power Supply**: EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2

Total costs come to about $941.86. This setup should run smoothly!

Thanks for the suggestions! Why do you prefer this motherboard compared to others? I liked the idea of a 420mm cooler for its quieter performance.

The Fractal North XL is a good choice; it can fit a 420mm radiator in the front without any issues. Just make sure you're not using both drive bays for HDDs, as that could cause some fitting problems with the PSU. Overall, I'd say the motherboard you have in mind seems compatible too!
