I just set up my new PC, and I noticed it doesn't have a Line In port like my old computer did. It only has a Mic port and a Line Out port. I need a Line In to connect my audio interface and wireless headset. What are my options for getting around this issue?

It sounds like you're running into a common issue. First off, the Mic port and Line In port are not the same, but you could consider a couple of options. One solution is to get a USB audio interface, which typically has the ports you need. That way, you can connect your audio setup as you did before. Another option could be a splitter, but be sure to get one specifically designed for your devices. Just don't try drilling into your motherboard—that's a hard pass!
Thanks for the clarification! I was confused about whether a splitter could actually help with my setup.
You might be able to convert the Mic input to work as a Line In through Windows. Sometimes, the software for the sound card allows for such changes. Check your audio settings and the specific software that came with your sound card. If that doesn’t do the trick, a USB audio interface is probably your best bet.
Good luck with the audio interface! I think that’s a solid way to go.
