Hey everyone! I'm currently working in Cyprus as a DevOps engineer with three years of experience and several AWS certifications. Since I'm not an EU passport holder, I would need my employer to sponsor me for work in the EU. How challenging is it to find DevOps roles in various locations throughout the EU, whether they are hybrid, onsite, or fully remote?

I've noticed jobs mostly in the Netherlands, Ireland, Poland, Malta, and even Cyprus. But typically, the salaries hover between 40k to 60k gross annually. You might find something on the lower end in the Netherlands, but with your experience, you could aim higher.

Honestly, it shouldn't be too hard to find something. Just keep in mind that compensation might not be the greatest in some areas.

I'm fine with the compensation; I could negotiate a little. Do you have any companies in mind that are hiring?

There are plenty of job openings, especially in major tech hubs like Amsterdam, Berlin, and Barcelona. Those cities are seeing a lot of growth in tech roles.
