Help! Windows Installation Stuck on ‘Setup is Starting’

Hey everyone, I'm having a frustrating time trying to reinstall Windows on my desktop after some issues with my motherboard (Aorus B450 Elite). Here's the deal: I was trying to get rid of some problems and found out that when CSM support is off, my boot drives aren't recognized, even though my SSD shows up in the SATA info. When I enable CSM support, my drives are recognized but I end up getting a 'Reboot and select proper boot device' error, regardless of if I use UEFI or Legacy mode. My boot order is correct, with the SSD on top.

This all started after I unplugged my headphones last night, and things were working fine until I forced a shutdown while I was a bit tipsy, so I'm worried that messed up my Windows installation. I first tried reinstalling Windows 11 but got a message about a missing media driver, so now I'm attempting a clean install of Windows 10 before upgrading to 11 later. However, I'm stuck at a purple screen that says 'Setup is starting,' and it's been like this for an hour. The cursor shows an hourglass, indicating it might be frozen. Does anyone have any insight on how to resolve this?

It's crucial to always back up your data before making changes to BIOS settings or reformatting drives. Just a safety tip! As for your installation issue, it sounds like the driver the system needs is missing. Can you confirm the model of your PC? That might help in finding the right drivers for your setup.

It might help to try resetting your BIOS settings to default and then re-enabling CSM support. Also, ensure that you have the latest BIOS version installed. If your SSD isn't being detected correctly, it could be due to how it's connected or formatted. Consider checking those connections and settings.
