Hey everyone! I'm planning some big changes this summer for my gaming and streaming setup. Right now, I've got a 4070 Ti paired with a 5950X, but I've been struggling to push high FPS in games like Dead by Daylight, even on low settings. For the last couple of years, I've felt that my CPU holds back my GPU's potential. I'm thinking about upgrading to a new build with a 9800X3D and using my current 4070 Ti in that setup. The idea is to turn my current rig into a dedicated streaming PC since the 5950X is great for CPU encoding. I'm curious about how much of an upgrade I'd see going from the 5950X to the 9800X3D, especially since the 9800X3D will use the AM5 platform instead of AM4. Any thoughts?

Are you gaming at 1080p only? If so, upgrading your monitor to a higher resolution might be a good idea. Your 5950X should handle well over 100 FPS in most games, so it's worth checking that out! Just make sure your monitor allows you to fully leverage your setup.
If you’re serious about streaming, a dual PC setup is definitely the way to go! The 9800X3D is a top-tier option, but if you're on a budget, consider the 9700X instead. It's a solid choice that could still give you great performance without breaking the bank.
