Is This Ad a Scam or Should I Worry About My iPhone?

Hey everyone! I was playing a game on my iPhone and came across one of those annoying ads claiming that I've been hacked or that there's a virus affecting my phone's security settings. It suggested downloading an app for protection, but I didn't fall for it. It left me a bit anxious about whether my phone is really compromised or if it's just another scam. Should I be concerned, or can I just brush this off?

Definitely a scam! This type of ad has been around forever and isn’t anything new. You did the right thing by not downloading anything.

Thanks for the reassurance! I went ahead and changed my password just in case, but it's good to know it’s nothing serious.

For sure it's a scam. If you were actually hacked, why would the ad be telling you about it? That just doesn't add up!

Exactly! I thought it was shady from the start, but I just wanted to confirm.

No offense, but are you new to browsing online? These popups are super common. Don't stress too much about it!

Not really new, just a bit anxious sometimes. I’ve seen these scams before, but I never got one while gaming. Just wanted to make sure!
