I'm aiming for specs similar to a Ryzen 7 5700G with 32GB RAM and a 512GB SSD, but I'm thinking of upgrading to a Ryzen 7 5700X, a B550 motherboard, a 1TB SSD, and potentially 32 or 64GB of RAM. I also need a case, which I know little about; I just want something functional, even if it means using a wooden frame. I'm open to any recommendations, especially for deals on new parts. Also, is it worth considering a prebuilt option if it offers better value? Finally, what OS should I go with, Windows 10 or 11? I'm currently using a Windows 7 machine, and I love it, but I'm wondering if it's feasible to install it on a newer system for gaming. I'm worried about potential price increases on components too, so any insights would be helpful!
