New Ryzen 5800X CPU Not Booting, Any Suggestions?

I recently upgraded my CPU from a Ryzen 7 5700G to a Ryzen 7 5800X, while my GPU (RTX 3070) remains the same. Before the installation, I made sure to update my BIOS, but now my PC powers on but the monitor shows no signal. When I switch back to the old CPU, everything works perfectly. My motherboard is compatible with the new CPU, and I have a 750W PSU, so that shouldn't be an issue. Does anyone have any ideas on what might be going wrong?

First off, double-check that your monitor is connected to the GPU and not the motherboard. Sometimes it's a simple oversight! Also, a few people in the community have mentioned that some BIOS settings might need to be reset or tweaked after such an upgrade, so it might be worth taking a look at that too.

Totally agree! It happened to me before, and it turned out to be the BIOS settings that needed adjusting. Double-checking cables is the first step, though.

You might want to confirm the specific model of your motherboard. It's crucial to ensure that it fully supports the 5800X. HP motherboards can sometimes have quirks, so checking their official resources for any required updates could help.

Yep, it's the HP 8876 Hana. I'm wondering if there's anything specific I should check there.
