I built my PC back in 2012, and I'm wondering if logicalincrements.com is still a reliable resource for selecting components. Are there any other websites or tools you recommend for choosing PC parts?

Honestly, I don't agree with some of the recommendations logical increments makes. For example, they suggest a single 8GB stick of RAM for a $1,000 build, which seems odd. It's worth exploring other options.
I've found that PCPartPicker is a great alternative. It lets you compare prices from different retailers and helps ensure compatibility between components. Definitely check it out!
Another place to look is that subreddit, but as of now, the pinned post there is kind of outdated. The GPU prices have been all over the place lately, so be cautious about relying solely on that.
