Hey everyone! I've been using an RTX 3060 for the last few years, but with the Oblivion remaster coming out, it's starting to show its age. I'm looking for advice on the best GPU upgrades that give me great value for money. I'm open to buying second-hand products as well. Also, I'll be gaming at 1440p, so any specifics related to that would be helpful. Thanks a lot!

I got a 5070 Ti for $835, upgraded from a 3060 Ti. Pairing it with a 7800 X3D for optimal performance! Let me tell you, it was a full build upgrade and worth it!

I’d ignore the Oblivion remaster as a reason to upgrade. My 4070 Ti Super struggled with it too, so it’s not just your GPU. It's pretty poorly optimized across the board!

True, I’ve had issues with other games as well. Just not performing like it used to!

You might want to check out the RX 6800 XT. I snagged one for about $320 for a build I was doing, and it performs really well at both 1080p and 1440p, especially with modern games. If you want the best bang for your buck, the 9070 or 9070 XT could be solid choices too!

I've been using the RX 6800 XT since it came out, and it's been fantastic at 1440p. Zero issues and a smooth experience!

I went all out on a 5070 Ti after Oblivion came out. I’m super happy with my decision, even if it was pricey!

Honestly, I upgraded from a 1070 to a 4070 Ti Super because I needed a boost and found a great deal. But in your case, I’d hold off until prices stabilize; it’s a bit wild right now.

If you're looking for value, the 7700 XT or the 5060 Ti could be ideal choices for you, and they shouldn't face CPU bottlenecking on an AM4 platform.

I feel you on this! I was also in the market for an upgrade but found prices crazy right now. My plan is to get an AM5 motherboard that supports PCIe 5.0 and hold onto my RTX 3060 for a bit. I want to add a good CPU from the 7000 or 9000 series first before upgrading the GPU for better pricing in the future. Just a thought! Good luck! 👌🏻

Still rocking an AM4 setup and will probably stick with it for a couple more years. Aiming for the R7 5700X3D to get more juice out of it!

I upgraded from a 3060 Ti to a 5070 Ti. It’s amazing to max out settings at 1440p!

My RTX 3070 is holding up fine, just started playing Doom Dark Ages in high settings at 1440p. Had to tweak some settings but it's managing pretty well!
