I recently purchased a Z790 Project Zero motherboard and I'm wondering if it will be compatible with a 7800XT GPU. Can anyone confirm if these components will work together?

Absolutely, the 7800XT should fit perfectly in the Z790 Project Zero. It's a solid combo!

Okay, thank you! I just want to make sure everything is compatible before I make the purchase.

Just remember to check if both the motherboard and GPU will fit into your case, that's often the real challenge!

I bought a Corsair 3500x case, so I hope it fits!

There’s no reason it wouldn’t work. The motherboard has a PCIe x16 slot, which is what you need for the GPU.

By the way, do you think a Corsair RMX 1000W PSU will be enough to power the 7800XT?

That's definitely overkill, but you'll have more than enough power for your setup!
