I just finished building my new PC and I'm having serious problems with my Wi-Fi. I have fiber optic internet with a strong router, but my connection is worse than ever. My wife's computer, which is right next to mine, gets a ping of 7-10 ms in games, while I keep losing connection completely. My download speeds have dropped drastically, going from 50 Mbps to just 8 Mbps. I connected my Wi-Fi antennas to my new PC just like before, but the performance is disappointing. Any ideas on what might be going wrong?

Check if you’re unintentionally downloading something in the background, as that could hog your bandwidth and slow everything down.
Do you happen to have a Realtek Wi-Fi card in your PC? It’s known to have compatibility issues with some setups that might affect your Wi-Fi performance.
It might help if you provide your full system specs. Sometimes, specific hardware can cause connectivity issues.
Nah, I’m not downloading anything right now. Just really weird.
