My PC Won’t Start – Could it be the GPU or PSU?

Hey everyone, my PC just suddenly shut down while I was gaming, and now it won't turn on at all. When I try to power it up with the GPU connected, nothing happens—no lights, no sounds. However, if I disconnect the GPU, the PC starts up just fine. I've been stress testing with integrated graphics and everything seems okay. I'm really stuck trying to figure out if the issue is with the GPU or the PSU. My specs are i7 12700K, RTX 3060 Ti, and 32GB of RAM. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like your GPU might be the main issue here. Since your PC runs fine without it, that's a strong sign it's causing the problem. Have you tried reseating it in the slot or checking if it requires any extra power connections to the PSU?

Good point! I didn’t check the power connections on the GPU itself. I'll do that next. Thanks!
