I'm planning to upgrade my system and I'm considering the 9800X3D CPU along with 2 sticks of 48GB RAM. With CPU issues being common lately, I'm wondering which motherboard would be the safest bet. I'm looking at Gigabyte or ASUS motherboards with the 870E chipset. If this topic has been discussed before, I'd appreciate a link to that thread. Thanks!

I wouldn't recommend going with ASRock motherboards. They're known for having a lot of issues lately. Are you sure you need an X870E motherboard? The B850 might be sufficient for your needs unless you have specific features in mind that require the X870E.
I plan to use 2 NVMe drives, so I wanted the extra lanes the X870E offers.
