I recently made the switch from Windows to Bazzite, and I'm really enjoying the experience so far. However, I find myself missing the screensaver feature I had on my Windows 11 PC. I set it to kick in after 30 minutes of inactivity because I use OLED monitors, and I want to prevent screen burn-in as much as possible. Is there a reliable alternative for Linux that can help me get screensavers back?

You can definitely get a screensaver on Linux! Just install 'xscreensaver'—it even works on Wayland now. Just keep in mind that many systems phased out screensavers because they can sometimes interfere with power-saving modes.
Screensavers aren't as popular as they used to be, but they're still around. You might want to look into using 'swayidle' if you're on a Wayland setup, or check your desktop environment's settings for screen management options. Most DEs have a feature for screen blanking, but it's important to know that some setups might lead to issues with connectivity on your monitor after it blanks out.
