I'm using lm-sensors to monitor my CPU temperature, but I'm not able to see the temperature for all the individual CPU cores. I am hesitant to accept all prompts in lm-sensors due to concerns about potential negative effects, and my operating system is also restricting me from doing so. Is there a safer alternative to check the temperatures of each CPU core without relying on lm-sensors?

It's possible that your CPU doesn't actually have individual temperature sensors for each core. They are packed closely together under thermal paste and a heatsink, which generally means their temperatures will be quite similar unless you're running really intensive tasks.
You could check your core usage via Task Manager—just go to the Performance tab and look at the Resource Monitor. However, if you really want per-core temperatures, some users have success using HWinfo. I can see separate core temperatures on my Ryzen 7 7800X3D using it under the "Sensors" section!
