Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of distress here! I recently updated my Samsung phone and it's changed the interface completely, which has me feeling overwhelmed. I find visual changes really distracting due to my ADHD and autism, and I need to make my phone look more normal again. Here are the issues I'm facing:
1. I can't find my notifications when I swipe down anymore—what happened?
2. The battery symbol looks terrible and there's no percentage displayed—how can I fix this?
3. The widgets have ugly appearances and the text is way too small.
4. The typeface for the interface is really unappealing—can I change it?
5. The layout for recently used apps is just awful—are there ways to change that?
6. I can't see the time on my home screen anymore! How do I get that back?
I'm seriously on the verge of a meltdown because of this, so any help would be hugely appreciated!

I'm really sorry to hear you’re feeling this way! You can change the notification style by looking in your settings; I think there's an option to revert to your previous menu.
For the battery icon, you might find customization options under display settings. There are lots of tutorials on YouTube for changing icons and fonts, which could help make it prettier.
To get the time back on your home screen, try long-pressing there to add a new widget; you can select a clock from the widget options. Good luck sorting it out!
I totally get why you're frustrated! Samsung’s updates can be a hassle. You can dig into your settings to find AI options that might help you locate what you’re looking for. Check your themes, too, as you may find something visually appealing that can also give you the options for font changes. There are definitely videos out there that can guide you step-by-step!
