How can I check the temperature of all CPU cores without using lm-sensors?

I'm currently using lm-sensors to monitor my CPU temperature, but I'm unable to view the temps for all of my CPU cores. I'm hesitant to agree to all the prompts when using lm-sensors because I'm worried about potential negative effects, and my OS isn't allowing that either. Is there an alternative method to check the temperatures of each CPU core in a safer way?

It might be that your CPU doesn't have individual temperature sensors for each core. Since the cores are so close and covered by thermal paste and a heat sink, their temperatures usually average out unless there's something very unusual happening. One simple alternative is to check the Task Manager and look under the Performance tab to see how much each core is being utilized. That's probably your best bet for monitoring core activity without diving too deep into sensors.

Just curious, do AMD Zen 5 processors actually offer the ability to read temps for each core? I’ve been trying to find solid info on that.
