Hey everyone! I'm looking to put together a new (or used) PC build for playing most AAA games at high settings and FPS on a 1440P ultrawide monitor. I'm not really interested in ray tracing, so I just want to focus on great performance. I have a budget of around $1200-$1300. Any recommendations?

You'll want to allocate a big chunk of your budget to the GPU. For your price range, I would suggest considering a used graphics card; it can give you great performance for less money.

Check out this build I made on PCPartPicker: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/bpwZHW. I've used a Micro Center bundle deal which helps save some cash for a used GPU. You might also want to cut down on storage if you already have a 4TB M.2.

That build looks good! I might get rid of the storage as I already have a spare 4TB M.2. Would you recommend AMD or NVIDIA for the used GPU?
