I recently built a new PC about a week ago, but today when I turned it on, my power supply unit (PSU) started running at full power, even though my PC isn't under any load. I'm using an Antec NeoEco 1300G M. Does anyone know what might be causing this issue?

Make sure your PSU is installed correctly. The vents should be clear and not blocked by any walls or furniture. Also, check that everything is properly seated and that there's enough thermal paste on your CPU and GPU. If your PSU is under stress, it could behave strangely. If you can, get a voltage tester to see if the outputs are correct, as you might just have a faulty unit.

It sounds like your PSU fan is running at full speed. Are you sure about how you're monitoring the power output? Sometimes, it can seem like it's at max power when it's just the fan's doing. Maybe check your settings in the BIOS or use a voltage checker to get a clearer picture.
