Accidentally Pinging the Wrong Site – Am I at Risk?

So, I was trying to check if my internet connection was working by pinging Google from the command prompt, but I accidentally typed 'goole' instead. I'm worried this might have sent a ping to a typosquatter site. Is there any risk involved in this? Can my device be compromised in any way?

Pinging is pretty harmless, so no need to fret! It simply checks if the site is reachable from your device. You’re completely safe!

Honestly, it doesn’t matter at all. You’re fine!

You're good! Nothing bad will happen to your device from this. Just be cautious with commands you don’t fully understand in the future!

Thanks for the reassurance! Guess I was just overthinking it.
