I've played around with Linux before and have experience with both Linux Mint and Ubuntu using Hyprland. I'm thinking of upgrading my SSD and exploring a new Linux distribution. I'm really considering Arch Linux, but I'm unsure if it's really difficult to use or if it's just a challenge to install. My main tasks would be coding and using Blender. Would it be better to stick with Arch or try an Arch-based distro like Manjaro?

Based on your post, Arch might not be the best fit for you right away. It's not just about installing; it's also about maintaining it and understanding the intricacies of the system after installation. Consider if you're ready for that whole experience.

If you're unsure about diving straight into Arch, why not test it out in a virtual machine first? It can give you a feel for it without committing your hardware right away. Better safe than sorry!

If you want the latest features and enjoy customizing your system, then absolutely, Arch is worth it! But be prepared to invest time into learning how it works. If you just want a more stable experience without the hassle, then something like Manjaro would be a better fit.
