I just built a PC with an Intel i7 14700KF, 64GB of RAM, and an 850W PSU. I'm trying to decide which GPU to pick for gaming at 1440p. I've come across a lot of different suggestions from various bottleneck calculators online, some even asking for specifics about my motherboard (B760). I'm really looking for advice on which GPU from the 5000 series to go with, and I've seen some benchmarks, but I'm struggling to make a comparison. Should I also consider waiting for the 50 Super series?

If you're set on 1440p gaming, you should definitely consider the 5000 series GPUs since they offer a lot of power. You're in good shape with your current setup, so just make sure to choose wisely based on what types of games you play most. Also, keep an eye out for the new Super models if you're not in a hurry.
Bottleneck calculators can be a bit of a scam, to be honest. Just focus on getting the best GPU you can afford without worrying too much about bottlenecking.
Honestly, just grab the GPU that fits your budget. Your 14700K won't bottleneck anything up to an RTX 5090 if you're gaming over 1080p. Don't stress over calculators—pick what you like best!
Honestly, most bottleneck calculators aren't very reliable. Performance can vary a lot depending on the game and settings you use. What I'd recommend is to look at benchmarks for your desired settings so you can compare the GPUs based on actual performance numbers. For instance, if you're targeting 60 FPS at 1440p max settings without ray tracing, a 4060 Ti 16GB is a solid choice, and for 120 FPS, you might want to aim for a 5070 Ti. Remember that ray tracing can demand more, so plan for that if you're interested in it. As for the Super cards, they generally offer minor upgrades—not really worth holding out for this time around.
Thanks for the insight, I’ll do some digging into those benchmarks!
The Super cards can sometimes be a good deal, especially if leaks are correct about the RTX 5080 Super having 24GB of VRAM.
