What’s the Best GPU for an i7 14700KF Build?

I recently built a PC with an Intel i7 14700KF, 64GB of RAM, and an 850W power supply. I'm trying to decide which GPU to get for gaming at 1440p, but I keep finding different answers from various bottleneck calculators online. Some of them even ask about my motherboard (B760). I'm specifically looking for advice on which GPU from the 5000 series would be best for me. Should I also consider waiting for the 50 Super series?

Just grab a GPU and jump into gaming! Your i7 14700K won’t bottleneck anything unless you're playing at 1080p on a super high-end card. Focus more on what games you want to play rather than overthinking the bottleneck issue.

Yeah, just enjoy the game! You'll have plenty of power for most titles.

Honestly, most bottleneck calculators out there aren't that reliable. You might be better off looking at benchmarks and seeing how different GPUs perform in the games you want to play. Performance can really vary by game and settings, so it's not all about avoiding a bottleneck. Just pick a GPU that fits your budget and needs!

True, some calculators seem a bit iffy! I’d say go for what works best for your setup.

Bottleneck calculators can be misleading, so it's really about what games you want to play. For 1440p max settings, you're looking at a 4060 Ti for 60FPS or 5070 Ti for 120FPS. Plus, ray tracing will require an upgrade to a higher tier card. Regarding the Super cards, they usually just offer incremental upgrades, not always worth the wait.

Thanks for the breakdown! This helps a ton.

I heard the RTX 5080 Super might have 24GB of VRAM. That could change things!
