I have an RTX 4070 Zotac 12GB graphics card, an Intel i5 12400F processor, and 15GB of DDR5 RAM. I'm concerned that my system might be bottlenecking. How can I check for this, and is it a significant problem? Will I still be able to enjoy gaming for the next 6-12 months with this setup?

To see if you’re bottlenecking, check if your GPU is running at 100% utilization during gaming. If it is, then you’re in the clear—no bottleneck there! If not, your CPU might be holding you back. In that case, consider upgrading your CPU for better performance. Also, if you’re thinking of boosting your FPS, upgrading from 16GB to 32GB of RAM could help. Just keep in mind that the term 'bottleneck' is often overhyped. Unless you're using super outdated hardware, it might not be as big of an issue as people make it out to be.

Since your GPU is at around 82% utilization, that suggests some level of bottlenecking, but it's not critical. You should still be fine for now, especially if you're not planning to invest in a new CPU soon. Just keep your settings in check and enjoy your games for the next year! And remember, your gaming experience might still be solid even with this setup.
