It feels like we might only be months away from someone creating a full-length film using AI tools like Veo 3. A solo creator or small team could potentially use Gemini to write the script and then generate video and audio with Veo 3. They would just need to piece together various clips. However, how realistic is this timeline? Are we actually close, or is there still a major hurdle to overcome?

I think we might be looking at around a year to see something like this happen, maybe even less. The technology is evolving quickly!
I’ve been thinking about this for years! I always imagined a future where AI could continue old TV shows by learning from the existing episodes. It’s crazy to think we might actually be approaching that point. It feels like we live in an amazing time with AI enhancing everything from friendships to creativity!
Maybe we're looking at 2070 for fully AI-generated films. But that's way past significant timelines like the Skynet apocalypse, right?
We just need a model similar to Veo 3 that allows us to input videos and text prompts. That way, we could maintain coherence between the characters and environments. Sure, it’s pricey for the average person, but I believe you might be able to create a full movie for about 100k instead of the typical 100M for a AAA film.
Haha, true! Hopefully, we won't have to worry about that by then!
