Why Isn’t My AI Generating Enough Words for My Report?

I'm struggling with my assignment that's due soon. I need to write a 2,000-word report, but every time I use ChatGPT or DeepSeek to create it, I'm ending up about 1,000 words short. I explain the prompt clearly, but when I ask it to generate the document, it just stops short. The error seems to always mention a problem with a placeholder. I'm really in a bind here and need some quick help!

Have you thought about using the 1,000 words it gives you as a starting point? Just flesh it out with your own ideas and add your insights. It can be tough, but sometimes just getting something down helps you build it up from there.

Why not try writing parts yourself? It can help clarify your thoughts. Start from the AI's short output, improve it, and fill in where it's lacking. Just remember, creating a full essay in one go isn't always effective.

AI is a cool tool, but remember, it's not a full replacement for your own creativity and critical thinking. Using it should be a way to enhance your skills, not take them away!

It sounds like you might be overloading the AI with too much info at once. Try breaking your assignment into smaller sections, like writing an outline first. Then, have the AI generate each paragraph separately. That way, you can ensure you're getting the content you need without it cutting out early.
