Hey everyone! I'm putting together my first gaming PC and want to make sure I'm getting the best performance out of my $2000 budget. I'm focusing on keeping these parts for the next 3–5 years with room for upgrades, so I'm leaning towards AMD for longevity. My main gaming resolution will be 1440p at 144Hz. I would love to hear your advice, especially on my CPU and GPU choices! Here's my current build:
**CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 4.5 GHz 8-Core Processor ($312.99)
**Cooler:** Thermalright Aqua Elite V3 Liquid CPU Cooler ($44.90)
**Motherboard:** ASRock B650M Pro RS WiFi Micro ATX ($149.99)
**Memory:** G.Skill Flare X5 32 GB DDR5-6000 CL30 ($99.89)
**Storage:** Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2 TB NVME SSD ($127.99)
**GPU:** Gigabyte GAMING OC Radeon RX 9070 XT 16 GB ($999.00)
**Case:** Jonsbo Jonsplus Z20 MicroATX ($101.00)
**Power Supply:** Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 850 W ($99.99)
Total: $1935.75
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

You might want to wait until the RX 9070 XT drops to about $700 to get the best deal. Prices fluctuate a lot, and catching the right sales can really save you some cash.
Just a heads up, I found the Ryzen 7700 for as low as $170 on AliExpress! Could be worth checking out!
I've tweaked your build a bit to help save some money and boost performance. Check out this new list:
**CPU:** AMD Ryzen 5 7600 3.8 GHz 6-Core ($198.92)
**Motherboard:** MSI PRO B650M-P Micro ATX ($119.99)
**Memory:** Silicon Power Value Gaming 32 GB DDR5-6000 ($84.97)
**GPU:** MSI VENTUS 3X OC GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB ($899.99)
**Total:** $1635.85
This setup should give you a snappier performance while keeping you under budget!
That CPU cooler seems a bit on the lower end for your budget. If possible, consider spending an extra $50 on a higher-quality AIO or a better air cooler for optimal performance. This will help keep your CPU running cooler under load!
Totally agree! A good cooler can really help with longevity and performance. You've got to take care of that 7700X!
I’ve built a similar setup with the Hellhound 9070 XT and 7800X3D, and it runs like a dream! Just make sure you are comfortable with your choices as it sounds solid!
I found that listing too, but it’s from a seller with only 34 sales, which is kind of sketchy for my liking. Might want to be cautious!
