How Can I Add a Thunderbolt Port to My New PC?

I've just set up my new PC and connected my Wacom Cintiq Pro 16, but it's not working as well as it should. The USB-C port on my motherboard isn't a Thunderbolt port like my old laptop had, and that means the display quality is really suffering—everything is blurry! I need a Thunderbolt connection to get the full resolution and crispness I'm used to. Is there a way to add a Thunderbolt port to my PC? I've seen some expansion cards online, but I'm still figuring out how all this computer tech works. Would Microcenter be able to help me with this? Really hoping for any advice on getting that Thunderbolt port so I can use my tablet properly! Here's my PC build: [PCPartPicker Link](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/R4wTNz)

You could definitely look into a Thunderbolt expansion card! These cards connect to the motherboard and can give you that Thunderbolt functionality. For example, you can find options like the Thunderbolt 4 or Thunderbolt 5 cards online. They're pretty straightforward to install if you have the right slot available on your motherboard. Just make sure to check compatibility before buying!

Unfortunately, adding Thunderbolt isn't as simple as just getting a port. Thunderbolt is a whole hardware interface, not just a port type, and supports high speeds and video signals that regular USB-C doesn't. However, since you're using a PC, look for a PCIe Thunderbolt expansion card if your motherboard supports it—this could be your best bet!

I had no idea Thunderbolt was so different! I thought the USB-C port would be fine. I'll definitely check for a PCIe card that fits. Thanks!
