Hey everyone! I'm diving into the world of PC building for the first time. My experience so far has mainly been transferring and upgrading some components in pre-built systems. However, after getting into it, I found a real passion for building PCs and have been keeping up with news and videos about it.
Now, I'm planning to build an all-white 1440p gaming rig for my fiancée. She mostly plays The Sims 4 on my existing setup, but she might want to try out Inzoi later on. We're not moving in together right away, so I've got some time to figure everything out.
Here's what I've got planned for her build:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 9600X
- CPU Cooler: Thermalright Frozen Notte ARGB White
- Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 Aorus Elite AX Ice ATX
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance White RGB 32GB 6000MHz CL36
- Storage: Samsung 990 Pro 1TB
- GPU: Asrock Steel Legend RX 7800XT 16GB or possibly the 7900 XT if it stays at MSRP after launch
- PSU: Corsair RM850X Shift White
- Case: Montech AIR 903 Max ATX Mid Tower White
I know this might be overkill for what she plays, but I want to future-proof it a bit in case she branches out into other games. I've done some research on compatibility, and everything seems good on paper, but I'm looking for advice and suggestions on this build. Thanks for any help!

Overall, your build looks solid! Just a tip: check compatibility on a site like PCPartPicker. It has a list-making feature that can alert you to any potential issues.
Also, when you're planning ahead, try to wait until you're closer to the build date to post again. Tech can change quickly, and there might be better options available then.
Appreciate it! I'll make sure to check that out before finalizing my purchase.
