I'm planning to upgrade my PC and currently have a GTX 1660 Super. I can't decide between the new 5080 or the 4080 Super. Everyone seems to recommend the 4080 Super, but it's priced around $2,000, while the 5080 I have in mind is only $1,400. Is the 4080 Super really worth the extra cost?

The 5080 really is your best bet if you're looking for top-tier performance. Since the 4080 Super isn't in production anymore, it doesn't make sense to spend that much. The 5070 Ti is also a solid choice if you're after good value—especially if you primarily game at 1440p.
Honestly, there's no good reason to choose the 4080 Super over the 5080, especially with how prices are right now. The 4080 Super is discontinued, and paying 20-30% more for it doesn't make sense. Go for the 5080.
I'm focused on 1440p gaming too, and I've heard the 5080 has around a 12% performance boost over the 5070 Ti. Do you think it's worth spending an extra $200-$300 for that upgrade?
