I'm using Plus, but I'm a bit confused about the different models available. I see the following options: GPT-4o (default), o3, o4 mini, and o4 mini high. There are also some less visible ones like GPT-4.5, GPT-4.1, and GPT-4.1 mini. Can anyone recommend the best model to use for non-coding tasks? I tried asking ChatGPT itself, but it claims that some of these models don't exist, which is puzzling!

I’m a big fan of GPT-4.1. It's super fast and provides much better answers than the default 4o. But if you're looking for a reliable general model for non-coding, 4o is solid. By the way, what do you primarily use ChatGPT for?
I usually go with o3 for most tasks. It’s a bit slower, but when I’m troubleshooting at work and doing non-coding stuff, it really helps.
I use it for all sorts of random stuff! Summarizing information, writing text, creating Excel formulas, and even figuring out what golf club to add to my bag based on distances. Sometimes I even chat with it about personal issues or how to give feedback to someone at work.
