Hey everyone, I'm having a frustrating issue with my laptop keyboard. Certain keys like 'p', ';', and '0' aren't typing unless I hold them down for a while or get lucky. I haven't made any recent installations or updates on Windows that I can think of. Interestingly, the keys work fine in the BIOS, but once I sign in, they just stop working. I've noticed that after leaving the laptop alone for a bit, the keys start working again, but this only lasts for a couple of minutes. Additionally, I'm facing a separate audio issue where the laptop sometimes doesn't recognize any audio devices. I've checked everything is installed correctly and updated the drivers, but it only works again after I power it off and leave it for 30 minutes to 4 hours. It's super annoying! I haven't spilled anything on the keyboard either, so I'm out of ideas. Any thoughts?

If you're feeling adventurous, you could try reseating the keyboard. Basically, open up your laptop, unplug the keyboard, and then plug it back in. Sometimes, that can fix connection issues. But honestly, a replacement might be the best long-term solution.
Sounds like your keyboard might be broken! You might need to replace the whole module, which can be a hassle. Sorry to say, but that's probably the fix you'll have to go for.
That really does suck! Replacing it can be quite annoying, but at least you know it's likely the cause.
I think I'll give that a shot tomorrow! If that doesn't work, I guess I’ll either find a new keyboard or just go for an external one.
