Hey everyone, I just picked up an AMD R9 290x, but I've run into a major issue. Every time I install the drivers, the GPU seems to be functioning—fans are spinning and everything—but my screen goes black with a slight green tint. I decided to swap in my old GTX 660 and that works just fine, so it's definitely something with the new card. I've tried a bunch of troubleshooting steps like replacing the RAM, using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU), and cleaning the PCI slots, but nothing has changed. I'm really frustrated at this point and could use any advice or insights you might have. Thanks!

It sounds like your GPU might be malfunctioning or there's an issue with the drivers themselves. Sometimes new cards need specific versions of the drivers, so maybe try downloading the latest ones directly from AMD's website instead of using the disc. If that doesn't fix it, you might want to consider returning it if it’s still under warranty.
I’ll give that a try! Thanks for the suggestion.
That's a good point! I've had similar issues where different driver versions worked better. Definitely worth a shot!
