Help Me Choose Between Two PC Builds for Gaming and Homework

I'm new to PC building and looking for some guidance on picking the best build for my needs. Right now, I'm planning to use it mainly for homework and gaming, specifically grand strategy games like HOI4 and VIC3. I'm also interested in sim racing and might want to dabble in some AAA titles. I don't have a strong preference for resolution at the moment, as long as it runs smoothly at 1080p. I'm aiming to stay within a budget of $1200 to $1300, including peripherals. Here are the two builds I'm considering:

- [PC Build 2](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/wCPCkf)

I have to say that the second build looks solid! You might also want to think about investing in a decent 27-inch 1440p monitor with 180Hz refresh rate and a 2TB SSD. The price difference isn't significant, and it'll give you a better overall experience. Here’s a link to a similar build I found: [https://pcpartpicker.com/list/KpsTRV](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/KpsTRV).

That sounds like a great deal! I saw a similar setup at Microcenter with a 7600X and a B650M motherboard. What are your thoughts on that combo?

Just a heads up, the 5060 Ti is a bit faster in terms of raw performance. Plus, it has much better upscaling and frame generation technology which could really enhance your gaming experience!
