Hi everyone, I'm having a frustrating issue with my phone where apps won't download or update. This started just today and it seems like something weird is going on with my iPhone. Whenever I try to access the App Store for purchases, it says "can't connect." When I attempt to download new apps, the download process gets stuck after a brief spin and then stops completely. I've noticed that it's mainly the social media apps that are causing trouble. Additionally, my phone is acting strangely—screen recordings won't stop when I ask them to, and the screenshot box lingers for about 15 seconds. I've already contacted support, and they suggested taking it in for repairs. Here's what I've tried: restarting my phone, logging out of Apple services, trying to update (which isn't working), and running diagnostics (everything seemed okay). Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

Have you checked your iPhone model and the iOS version? Sometimes connection issues can be tied to specific versions. If you haven't already, try switching to a different Wi-Fi network or maybe reset your network settings. Just a heads up, resetting network settings will erase previously saved networks, so you’ll need to re-enter passwords!
Let me know if that helps! It can sometimes do the trick.
If the network reset doesn’t solve it, consider doing a complete wipe of your phone. You can use a Mac or Windows to back up your data and then restore it after a hard reset. Just make sure you check out some how-to videos before you start—it can be a bit tricky if you’re not super techy!
Would doing a wipe mean I have to transfer all my files to my Windows first? I could use a guide for that because I'm not really tech-savvy.
I have an iPhone 12 with iOS 18.1.1. I haven't tried resetting the network settings yet, but I don't have another Wi-Fi option right now. I'll do that as soon as I can.
