My PC Stops Working After Upgrading to a New GPU and PSU – Help!

Hey everyone! I recently tried to upgrade my GPU from a 3060 ti to a 9070 xt, but now my PC is acting up. The screen keeps losing signal, and I can't seem to reconnect it unless I turn off the PC. When I check System Information, it says there's no GPU detected. I've reseated the GPU a couple of times, but nothing changes. My motherboard is an Asus-Prime H610M-A D4, and I'm unsure if the 9070 xt is compatible or if I'm just not installing it correctly. So when the screen does work, the system is slow and laggy. I've read online that the power cable might not be firmly connected to the motherboard, but I've double-checked it twice already with no success. I recently bought a be quiet! Pure Power 12 M 850W 80 Plus Gold PSU as well. I'm really confused about where the problem could be coming from. Is the PSU maybe not compatible, or am I just missing a connection? Any ideas or advice would be super helpful! Thanks!

First off, did you install the AMD drivers for your 9070 XT? You might want to run DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to completely remove the old Nvidia drivers from your 3060 Ti before installing the new ones. That could resolve some of the issues with detection and performance. Also, it's good practice to uninstall the old drivers before swapping GPUs, just to be safe! Let me know if you try it!

I tried that step, but my screen disconnected mid-way through, so I couldn’t finish. I haven’t uninstalled the Nvidia drivers yet because I thought GPU drivers aren’t usually a problem when swapping cards, but I guess I should give it a shot.
