I recently bought an Asus Prime 9070 XT for a great price, but I've run into a snag with my power supply. A few months ago, I replaced my old PSU with a Power Zone 2 from Be Quiet!, which has 2x8 pin connectors and 1 12V connector. The problem is that my new graphics card needs 3x8 pin connectors, and I just realized that I don't have enough.
I've heard about daisy chaining the power connectors, but I'm also wondering if there's a way to use a 12V to 12V connection with a cable mod that can split into 2x8. Are there any other solutions, or am I stuck with daisy chaining until I can upgrade my PSU to one that supports 3x8?

Have you thought about returning your PSU for one that has the 3x8 pin setup? It might cost a bit, but it could save you hassle down the road. Just check if your return window is still open!
The Power Zone 2 actually does have the 3 PCI-E connections you're looking for, even in the 750W version! One of them is a 12V power connector for PCI-E 5.1, so you might consider using that with an adapter to split it into two 8-pin connectors. Just make sure your setup won't draw too much power from a single connector. Overall, daisy chaining might work for a short term fix, but try to avoid it if possible for long-term stability!
True, but just be cautious with the load you put on those connections. Proper power distribution is key!
Unfortunately, I'm past the return window, so that's not an option for me.
