I'm using DeepSeek V3 to create apps, but I hit a wall with the message limit. When I reach that limit, I copy the old chat and upload it as a text file for DeepSeek to analyze, which is inconvenient and time-consuming. A lot of times, DeepSeek forgets the code snippets it provided me previously, so I end up having to paste those in repeatedly.
I also tried DeepSeek V3 on your Monica AI, but I found out there's a cap of 40 messages per day. If I subscribe to a plan that allows for 5000 messages a month, how many can I send in a single chat session? It seems like the free plan doesn't let DeepSeek retain the previous context for too long. What's the longest chat session I can have before it forgets what we've discussed? Additionally, are there any affordable alternatives to Monica AI that might not have these message limitations? Thanks for your help!

Just to clarify, there's no rate limit, but there is a token limit you should be aware of. Keep that in mind when chatting!
The main DeepSeek site doesn't have the limits you're mentioning. You might want to check out the Chinese version directly, as it seems to offer better flexibility.
I tried that, but it still seems confined in long conversations.
I'm working on creating an alternative that charges based on usage. But it sounds like what you really need is a better context window from the model rather than just a different interface!
Unfortunately, there's no built-in way to increase the limit for messages in a single chat. It's tied to the context window of the model itself, and only DeepSeek can change that. Just wanted to give you a heads up!
So, does that mean if I stick with Monica AI, I'm going to hit that limit too?
What exactly does that token limit mean for my conversations?
