So, I'm having a tough time gaming on my Acer Aspire VX5-591G laptop, which is about 8 years old. Every time I try to play a game that needs 3D rendering, my wireless network driver goes haywire—it basically disappears from the Device Manager, and the only fix is to restart my laptop. I also got a Blue Screen error saying 'DPC_Watchdog_Violation' after playing. I recently installed some new plugins for After Effects, like Sapphire and Red Giant. Could those installations be messing with my system? Any thoughts on what I can do?

Have you thought about updating your drivers? Sometimes new updates can fix these issues, but if you did update them recently, trying a rollback might help. Just check your Device Manager. It can be tricky, so let me know if you need help with that!
It sounds like you might be dealing with some serious hardware issues. Those DPC watchdog errors often point to hardware problems, especially given the age of your laptop. I recommend checking the temperatures when you're gaming; repasting the CPU and GPU could help if they're overheating. Also, be cautious—doing 3D rendering on that older GTX 1050 might be pushing it a bit unrealistic!
Yeah, the 1050 is great for casual gaming but can struggle under high loads. Just make sure everything's well ventilated!
I checked, and it says all my drivers are up to date. Not sure if I need to roll back all of them or just the one for the wireless adapter though.
