Hey all! I'm working on a budget-friendly PC build primarily for gaming at 1080p, and I'd really appreciate your suggestions for the best CPU and GPU combo for this purpose. The games I'll be playing the most are CS2 (Counter-Strike 2) and Dota 2, with occasional play of AAA titles like Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA V. My main goals are to achieve high FPS in CS2, get great price-to-performance, and have smooth 1080p gaming at high or max settings. I'm not into streaming or heavy multitasking, just aiming for solid gaming performance. My budget for this build is around $1300.

If you're looking for something a bit cheaper, consider the Ryzen 5 7500F along with a Radeon 9060 XT, which is set to launch soon at a decent price. This setup will also let you upgrade down the line if you need to, plus it should easily handle all your gaming needs at 1080p. A well-balanced RAM setup (like a 32GB kit at 6000MT) will complete your build nicely.

For your budget, I recommend going with a CPU like the Ryzen 5 7600X paired with a GPU like the RX 6700 XT. This combo should keep you well within your budget and give you the performance you need for 1080p gaming at high settings. The 6700 XT will handle CS2 and Dota 2 really well, plus it can manage some of those AAA games you want to play without issues! Just make sure to grab some good RAM to go with it, ideally around 32GB at 6000MT.

I’d argue you might want to look at the RX 6800 too if you find a good deal. It’s slightly more powerful and great for future-proofing your build.
