Hey everyone! I got my PC built about a year ago by my cousin, but it seems he gave me a pretty outdated GPU since he used my money to buy a better one for himself. I'm currently using an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970, paired with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600 6-core processor. My games don't look great on my 180Hz 1440p 27-inch monitor. Everyone keeps telling me my GPU is really old, and I'm not sure what's good or worth the investment.
My budget is a little above £300, but I can stretch that to around £400 if necessary. Any recommendations?
