What upgrades can I make to boost my PC’s gaming performance?

I'm looking to upgrade my gaming PC and could really use some advice. Here are my current specs: I have an ASUS PRIME B450M-GAMING motherboard, an AMD Ryzen 5 5600G CPU, an RTX 3070 GPU, 16 GB of RAM, and a storage mix of 500 GB NVMe M.2 plus a 1 TB SSD. My main focus is gaming, and I'm curious about which components I should upgrade for the best performance boost. I've been considering the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, but I've had no luck finding one since it's discontinued. Any suggestions?

If you're gaming at 1080p, upgrading to an X3D CPU will really help with your FPS and overall performance, especially in demanding games. If you can't find the 5800X3D, the 5700X3D is a great alternative and generally available for around €200-250, giving you a 15-30% performance improvement over your current CPU. As for the GPU, if budget allows, options like the 5060 Ti 16GB, 5070, or 5070 Ti could enhance your graphics performance significantly up to higher settings.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm gaming at 1080p, and my budget is around R$3000 (roughly €470).

First, I’d recommend setting a clear budget because upgrading your GPU and RAM could give you some solid improvements. If you're thinking about switching out the GPU, you might need to consider whether your current motherboard will support the new card. But definitely focus on the GPU and RAM first!

Thanks for your insight! With my budget around R$3000 (about $570 USD), will I need to swap out the motherboard if I upgrade the GPU?
