Is it worth trying to buy a GPU right now?

I'm in the process of building my first gaming PC and I feel like I've picked a terrible time to do it! With a budget between $600 and $850, is there any chance I'll find a GPU close to MSRP, or should I just wait it out?

Another option is checking eBay for an RTX 3080. Prices fluctuate, so you might get lucky and find a decent deal.

Honestly, finding a reasonably priced GPU right now is really tough. You might have to wait a bit for prices to stabilize. In the meantime, consider buying other components when they're on sale, and then save for the GPU later when things might be better.

Yeah, that seems like the best strategy right now!

It really is! Waiting for a good deal on the GPU will save you stress in the long run.

If you're looking right now, there is a 5070 Founders Edition available at Best Buy for $549. Also, Newegg has some other options like a Gigabyte 5070 for $610 and an MSI Ventus 2x OC 5060 Ti for $500. They aren't the top of the line but they're decent options with a minor markup over MSRP.

Yeah, they're definitely not the best value, but they are available if you're ready to buy.

Those prices are still kinda high for what they are, huh?
